The project aims at developing a web portal for teachers at vocational schools in Saxony, which supports them in their targeted search for further training courses on the integration of digital media.
Project Background
The project ELMeKS.digital aims to increase the media literacy of teachers at Saxon vocational schools in the fields of social pedagogy, health and nursing as well as physiotherapy. By implementing a web portal, individual entry and support resources are provided to enable teachers to integrate digital media into their teaching. The project pursues an evidence-based approach by addressing existing
needs and challenges in teaching practice and providing teachers with targeted training recommendations and an additional learning module on inclusion. By strengthening media literacy, this project contributes to improving the quality of teaching at private vocational schools in Saxony and promotes their competitiveness in terms of recruiting highly qualified teachers.
