More restaurants should have their own vegetable garden. For a few restaurants this is absolutely possible. In my presetation I explain what all the benefi ts are of having your own vegetable garden. At my current internship there is a big field, on this field there are a few apple trees, but I think it is also possible to build a beautiful garden. Also there are currently people working there that might be interested in making this work.
Guests increasingly want to know where their food comes from, and they want it to be sustainable. This way you are not only serving your guests food, but also a beautiful background story about how their food ended up on their plate. A lot of companies want to be more sustainable and take better care of the environment. I think it is also adaptable to other contexts because a lot of companies have space for this idea. Even when it is just a few fruit trees or a small garden for herbs.
